The ProfiTel Acoustic Test application is optional and supports active testing of terminals in the system with built in remote test features.

The ProfiTel IP emergency telephones support remote acoustic testing in addition to test of internal communication between the components of the telephone.

The tests may be set up to be performed automatically with defined start time and interval given in days, hours and minutes.

The PAT system with hardware includes a 19" rack mountable unit containing a detector card, an IP phone card and an I/O card.
